GODWIN, N.C. (AP) - Three teenagers have been arrested after deputies say they tossed rocks off a bridge and onto vehicles traveling on Interstate 95 near Godwin.

The Fayetteville Observer (https://bit.ly/1PyIQUQ ) reports authorities arrested the three on charges including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and damage to personal property.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Sean Swain says deputies received calls Monday night about rocks being thrown at cars. When deputies arrived, they found a BMW parked near the bridge and the three teenagers under the bridge.

The sheriff’s office says five vehicles were damaged. Swain says drivers did not report any injuries.

Bail for each of the suspects has been set at $250,000. It’s unclear if they have attorneys.
