PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department says that the state’s outdoor enthusiasts should remember that their hunting and fishing licenses for 2015 have now become expired.

The agency said Tuesday that 2016 hunting and fishing licenses can either be purchased on the Internet or from authorized license dealers.

The department says the purpose of Game, Fish and Parks is to conserve, manage and protect South Dakota’s wildlife resources, parks and outdoor recreational opportunities.

The agency says those resources are for the use and enjoyment of the people of the state and for visitors to South Dakota.
