WASHINGTON (AP) - The Navy says military personnel at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington are holding an active-shooter drill as part of their anti-terrorism training.

The Navy says in a statement that the event Wednesday morning is designed to test security measures and emergency responses, as well as communications at the installation.

Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is located in Southeast Washington. It was established in 2010 by a consolidation of Naval Support Facility Anacostia and the adjacent Bolling Air Force Base.
