BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A search committee has narrowed the list of candidates for Southern University Law Center chancellor to six.

The Advocate (https://bit.ly/1X2f6kT ) reports the 14-member committee trimmed the list Tuesday during a 90-minute meeting behind closed doors.

The remaining candidates are associate dean of affairs at Florida A&M; University College of Law Joan Bullock, Southern University Alumni Federation president Preston Castille Jr., 1st Circuit Court of Appeal judge John Michael Guidry, interim Law Center chancellor John Pierre chancellor and vice chancellors at the Law Center Russell Jones and Roederick C.
