PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say a police wagon transporting victims of a shooting in south Philadelphia was involved in an accident, but the officers weren’t believed to be seriously injured.

Police said the crash was reported just after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday as the police vehicle was taking two shooting victims to Penn Presbyterian Hospital.

A police spokeswoman said additional officers picked up the shooting victims and took them to the hospital, where both the 23-year-old man and the 25-year-old man were reported in serious condition.

Police said officials believed neither officer in the wagon was seriously injured.
