FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Prosecutors say a second suspected gang member has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for killing a Texas businessman whose body was in a burning SUV.

Dean Allen Walden of Boyd was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to murder in the October 2012 slaying of Robert Dodson.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1PCY9Mr ) reports Joseph Dodson of Burleson, who’s not related to the victim, earlier was sentenced to 30 years after pleading guilty to murder.

In June 2012 a teenager robbery suspect was shot and killed outside Robert Dodson’s home. Authorities say 17-year-old Claudia Hidic was accidentally shot by an accomplice, who later pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to 33 years.

Court documents indicate Robert Dodson allegedly was the target of a gang-ordered hit after the teen’s death.
