BOONEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A Booneville woman faces a felony charge of computer child pornography after being accused of exchanging nude photos with a minor through social media app Snapchat.

Court documents say 26-year-old Sydnei Danyale Pearcy and a boy swapped numerous nude photos and videos of each other last fall while Pearcy was working as a substitute teacher for Booneville School District.

The student says he became uncomfortable after Pearcy went to some of his athletic events and blocked her from his Snapchat account.

Pearcy was arrested and released on $5,000 bond Jan. 27. She’s scheduled to appear in Logan County Circuit Court on Friday and is prohibited from contacting the student.

The Arkansas Democrat Gazette’s efforts to reach Pearcy’s attorney, Kenny Goza, and Booneville Superintendent John Parrish were unsuccessful Wednesday.
