LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Las Vegas Strip is getting a new shopping center and a convention building with a rooftop pool as Clark County commissioners have approved the plans.

Vegas Inc. reports (https://bit.ly/1mgqfRK ) that commissioners on Wednesday approved two separate plans for additions to two Strip resorts.

Wynn Las Vegas is planning a two-story shopping center addition and SLS Las Vegas intends to open a three-story building with a pool on top as a convention space.

Wynn Las Vegas has not announced a timetable or other details of the shopping center project.
