NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (AP) - Officials say four middle school students and three adults were hurt in New York’s Hudson Valley when a car dropping off a student jumped a curb and hit four other vehicles.

Town of New Windsor police tell the Times Herald-Record of Middletown (https://bit.ly/1KZRgPG ) that a woman was dropping off a student at the Heritage Middle School on Wednesday morning when she hit two cars waiting to drop off students. Her car then hit two parked cars before finally coming to a stop.

The woman was taken to an Orange County hospital in Newburgh for evaluation. Six other people were also treated.

Police say the injuries weren’t serious.

Police aren’t releasing the woman’s identity until an investigation is completed. Officers say it’s unclear what caused the crash.
