DUNCAN, S.C. (AP) - The country coroner says that the deaths of two people found in a Spartanburg County home in October have been ruled accidental.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger tells local media outlets that 47-year-old Douglas Evan Pearson and 38-year-old Crystal Denise McAbee died of cocaine-induced heart and respiratory failure.

Initially, authorities were unsure whether the deaths may have been homicides.

Police went to a house in Duncan on Oct. 7 after a report of someone with a gun and a knife chasing a neighbor. There they found the victims.
