WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - A Westchester County man has been sentenced to 19 years in prison for stabbing his ex-girlfriend at a Metro-North train station.

Acting District Attorney James A. McCarty announced the sentence Thursday for Sidney Brown of Mount Vernon. He previously pleaded guilty to attempted murder and strangulation.

Deborah Henry was stabbed repeatedly in the parking lot of the Irvington train station on April 8, 2015.

The witnesses included Irvington Fire Chief Chris DePaoli, who was driving by the station and intervened..
