FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash in northeastern Indiana.

Indiana State Police say 43-year-old Lanaya C. Collier and 84-year-old Roger F. Fry died from their injuries in the crash Wednesday afternoon at the border of Whitley and Allen counties. According to police, Collier was driving a pickup involved in the crash, and Fry was a passenger in the other vehicle.

State Police say Collier was ejected from the pickup and was pronounced dead at the scene. Fry was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police say the driver of the car Fry was in, 85-year-old Marilyn J. Fry of Columbia City, was taken to a hospital. Police said Wednesday night that her condition was not known.
