WASHINGTON (AP) - Police in the District of Columbia say four people, including two juveniles, were shot and wounded in southeast Washington.

Officer Hugh Carew told The Washington Post that officers responding to a call for a shooting around 9 p.m. Wednesday found the four victims at the intersection of 16th and Butler streets southeast. Police say all four were taken to hospitals with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police say the victims include a boy, a girl and two men.

Police did not say what might have prompted the shooting.
