WILTON, Maine (AP) - Police say a pickup truck driver was killed when the vehicle went out of control, rolled over and struck a tree in Maine.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in Wilton.

Police Chief Heidi Wilcox tells The Sun Journal (https://bit.ly/1UN4FA3 ) speed and slippery road conditions were contributing factors that led to the crash.

The driver’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family members.
