HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Democrat Joe Sestak is heading into the final months of his U.S. Senate primary campaign with $2.6 million in the bank after raising $374,000 in the last three months of 2015.

The Federal Election Commission released Sestak’s report Thursday.

Sestak leads his Democratic primary rivals in campaign cash, but incumbent Republican Pat Toomey holds a sizable fundraising advantage with $9.6 million as of Dec. 31.

Toomey is seeking his second, six-year term representing Pennsylvania. He’s unlikely to face a serious primary challenge.

The primary election is April 26.

Democrat Katie McGinty reported $1.2 million in the bank after raising nearly $1 million in the last three months of 2015. Democrat John Fetterman raised $158,000 in the fourth quarter, leaving him with about $131,000 in the bank entering the year.
