BALTIMORE (AP) - Officials say a train car carrying hazardous materials derailed in south Baltimore, but there’s no leak.

The city’s Office of Emergency Management tweets that the car derailed in the 2600 block of Cannery Avenue on Thursday morning. Emergency officials say fire department hazardous material crews evaluated the scene and found no hazards.

CSX spokesman Rob Doolittle says that the derailed CSX tank car was carrying hazardous materials, but it did not hit anything and there are no injuries. Doolittle says the car wasn’t damaged and there were no leaks. He says the car was upright with two wheels off the track and it was returned to the tracks a few hours later.

This story has been corrected to show that the derailed car did not hit anything.
