PHENIX CITY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities have begun a homicide investigation after two men were found dead in a Phenix City home.

Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. tells news outlets that 18-year-old Alonzo Pipkin and 24-year-old London Long, both of Phenix City, were pronounced dead on the scene early Thursday morning. Sumbry says the victims seemed to have died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Phenix City Police Capt. Frank Ivey says officials were called to the scene after someone reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area.

Ivey says there are no immediate suspects and details are limited as police continue to investigate the case.

Sumbry says the two victims’ bodies will undergo an autopsy on Friday.
