In answer to New Hampshire voters flocking to The Donald, John Kasich (KAY’-sik) is battling his Republican presidential rival by bringing in The Arnold - and former television host Montel Williams.

The star power comes as Kasich, the Ohio governor, fights for the top-tier finish that he says he needs in New Hampshire’s primary to keep his campaign afloat. Kasich’s campaign has invested most of its time, energy and cash into Tuesday’s first-in-the-nation contest.

Kasich and Arnold Schwarzenegger, the movie star and former California governor, go way back. Schwarzenegger has held his annual sports festival in Columbus since 1989 and he’s filming his current movie in the city. They’ll hold a tele-town hall together Friday.

Williams, a military veteran, backed Kasich Thursday, citing his experience as congressman and governor.
