JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi Department of Corrections is now seeking the girlfriend of parolee Michael Lester Morgan as an accomplice in his escape this week.

The department, in a news release Friday, said Kimberly M. Sellars is wanted on a charge of aiding and abetting. She is believed to be traveling with Morgan, who escaped the Rankin County Probation and Parole Office in Pearl after a revocation hearing Thursday related to his Dec. 3 arrest in Hinds County.

Morgan was on parole for charges of possession of a stolen firearm, a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, violation of traffic ordinances, and possession of a controlled substance.

The two may be traveling in a 2012 four-door Acura sedan with the license plate “Breast Cancer Awareness Tag #1F19BA.”
