DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover Police have arrested a man they say led officers on a foot chase and pulled out a handgun.

It happened about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 Block of Barrister Place, police said Friday in a news release. Officers investigating a reported armed robbery approached a man, who then ran off.

Authorities say officers chased the man, who reached inside his coat and pulled out a handgun.

Police say the officers ordered the man to drop his weapon, which he did.

Twenty-one-year-old Zhamir Cooper-Watson was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
