MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) - A woman sleeping in her house in Moorhead escaped injury when a drunk driver crashed into her home.

Authorities say a 33-year-old man from Lisbon, North Dakota, lost control of his pickup truck early Friday, crashed through a fence, went through a yard and slammed into the house.

Police Lt. Mike Detloff tells KFGO radio (https://bit.ly/1PWRNTJ ) that part of the exterior wall in the room where the woman was sleeping was pushed in. She was not hurt.

The driver also escaped injury and was arrested on several charges.
