NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Officials say two women were killed and a third person was injured in a house fire in Nashville.

WTVF-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1PskCYQ ) that emergency crews were called to the fire in south Nashville on Friday evening.

Firefighters found two women, ages 60 and 63, in the front of the house. The 60-year-old woman died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center early Saturday. The 63-year-old victim was expected to survive.

Authorities found the body of the third woman in a front bedroom. She died after being taken to the hospital.

Investigators said the accidental fire was caused by a short in an aging electrical box in the basement. Authorities said they were unable to find any smoke alarms in the home.
