TAMWORTH, N.H. (AP) - The annual Ice Harvest and Winter Carnival gets underway Saturday at Remick Farm and Museum in Tamworth.
The event, now in its 13th year, runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
WMUR-TV reports (bit.ly/1QjJgef) that the farm has its own pond and uses the same tools that were used in the 1940s to harvest ice.
Participants can enjoy sleigh rides, outdoor games and a visit with the farm’s animals.
Admission is $5 for those over the age of 4.
