ATLANTA (AP) - Police say a man accused in the shooting death of woman six months ago has been arrested.

Fulton County police spokeswoman Officer Kay Lester told local news media that 37-year-old Larry Reese turned himself in Friday in the Aug. 19 death of 21-year-old Claynesia Ringer. Reese is charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Ringer was found dead inside a vehicle. Ringer was an aspiring pharmacy technician and mother of a two-year-old girl.

Reese is being held at the Fulton County Jail. It’s not clear whether Reese has an attorney.
