MESA, Ariz. (AP) - The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help in finding the driver in a fatal pedestrian collision in east Mesa.

Spokesman Chris Hegstrom says 59-year-old Yolanda King was fatally struck on dark road near Hawes Road and Apache Trial between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

Hegstrom said authorities are looking for anyone who may have seen anything involving people walking on the side of the road.

He said King was found dead when deputies arrived.

Authorities don’t have a vehicle description and said there wasn’t a crosswalk where King was killed.
