LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (AP) - Lake Geneva police say 10 vehicles apparently are a total loss after breaking through the ice during the city’s Winterfest.

The cars were parked on the ice of Lake Geneva when they began breaking through Saturday.

Officers arrived and found 15 vehicles were partially submerged in the water. Tow companies removed the cars. No one was hurt.

Five of the vehicles that broke through the ice were able to be driven away. But the other 10 sustained severe water damage.
