EASTON, Pa. (AP) - A man is facing life in prison without possibility of parole after a conviction in the shooting death of another man at an eastern Pennsylvania bar three years ago.

Jurors in Northampton County deliberated for more than three hours before convicting 21-year-old Miguel Angel Rodriguez of Allentown of first-degree murder in the February 2013 slaying of 33-year-old Damien Robinson at the now-closed Eddie G’s bar in Easton.

A county grand jury report issued in March 2014 alleged that the defendant was a member of a Brooklyn-based gang.

Defense attorneys argued that someone else killed the victim. In testimony to the investigative grand jury before he was charged, Rodriguez said he left the bar before the shooting and his cellphone was found there because he loaned it to a relative.
