COVENTRY, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a driver has died after she lost control of her car on northbound Interstate 91 in Coventry and it flipped over.

Police said the car driven by 26-year-old Danielle Carpenter of Derby crossed the rumble strips in the passing lane and slid out of control at about 6:10 a.m. Monday.

Carpenter wasn’t wearing a seat belt. She was the only one in the car.

The crash is under investigation.
