DETROIT (AP) - An ex-convict who was living with a woman and her son in suburban Detroit has pleaded guilty to killing them.

Prosecutors say Antoine Beck pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of second-degree murder. The deal calls for 45-70 years in prison when he is sentenced Feb. 24.

The bodies of Courtney Durr, 28, and Sumari Das, 10, were found in June at La Colonnade Apartments in Southgate. Beck was accused of killing the pair and fleeing in Durr’s car.

Beck’s criminal record includes armed robbery and a decade in prison. Police say he confessed and expressed no remorse after the deaths.
