PHOENIX (AP) - Numerous residents of a Phoenix apartment complex have been displaced by an early morning fire.

Fire Department officials say one person was treated for smoke inhalation from the fire that broke out at about 3 a.m. Monday. No other injuries were reported.

Firefighters arriving at the complex were able to contain the fire to one apartment on the third floor. That unit was severely damaged, and several other units have smoke and water damage.

Estimates on the number of people displaced ranged from 15 to 20.

Cause of the fire is under investigation.

The complex is near 36th Street and Thomas Road.
