TAYLORS, S.C. (AP) - Greenville County authorities have released the name of a man shot to death at his mother’s apartment in Taylors.

The coroner’s office told local media outlets that the victim in the shooting was 23-year-old Anquan Lemuel Gambrell of Clinton.

Coroner Parks Evans says an autopsy was planned Monday.

Greenville County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jennings Autrey said deputies were called to a home in Taylors around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Autrey says officers found Gambrell in a breezeway of an apartment building.

Gambrell was taken to a Greenville hospital where he died Sunday.

Authorities say Gambrell was shot following an argument with another man.

No arrests have been reported.
