AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Officials say the death of a student from New Hampshire who fell out of a fourth-floor window at a Massachusetts university is not suspicious.

James Tilley, of Windham, New Hampshire, fell out of a window at University of Massachusetts Amherst at around 2 a.m. Friday. The 21-year-old Tilley was a senior majoring in physics and math.

University spokesman Edward Blaguszewski tells The Boston Globe (https://bit.ly/1NZevt1 ) that he doesn’t know whether the building was open at the time.

Blaguszewski says the incident is not suspicious and foul play is not suspected.

Authorities are investigating the fall. A state medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
