PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a woman is missing and in danger following the killing of a man believed to be her new boyfriend.

Police say 20-year-old Veronica Huerta and her year-old son left an apartment complex parking lot with the suspect after the shooting Saturday.

Police said Sunday the boy had been located and was safe.

The victim’s identity hasn’t been released and it isn’t known how or where the child was located, but police on Monday identified the suspect as Richard Paz Garcia and said there’s a warrant for his arrest.

Police said the victim was ordered out of a car and shot after he, Huerta and Huerta’s child arrived at the complex.

According to police, Huetz is an “endangered adult” and the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
