TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County sheriff’s homicide detectives say they’re investigating a suspicious death.

They say the body of a man was found around 9 a.m. Monday in a desert area in the foothills area.

A woman who lives near Sabino Canyon reported finding the body in a desert area at the north end of North Bowes Road.

Deputies responded to the area and found the man, who wasn’t carrying any identification.

Sheriff’s officials say the body had obvious signs of trauma and has been turned over to the county Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
