DOVER, Del. (AP) - Authorities say two Milford brothers wanted in connection with separate charges including theft have been arrested.

Delaware State Police say troopers arrested the men on Thursday in the housing area of Dover Air Force Base.

Police say 26-year-old Matthew Meding was wanted on charges in connection with a rash of car break-ins near Lincoln in November and for a burglary near Frederica. He is facing charges of second-degree burglary, theft and criminal trespassing.

Police say 24-year-old Joshua Meding was wanted for theft by false pretense, falsifying business records and selling stolen property. Authorities say an investigation revealed he allegedly removed golf cart batteries from a Lincoln area home and then sold them at a local salvage yard in exchange for cash.

It isn’t immediately clear if the men have attorneys.
