DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - The U.S. Air Force museum in southwest Ohio will host a special showing of a documentary about the famed Tuskegee (tuhs-KEE’-gee) Airmen.

The Air Force Museum near Dayton will begin its 2016 Living History Film Series on Feb. 20 with “In Their Own Words: The Tuskegee Airmen.” The 90-minute documentary tells the story of the squadron of black pilots that was formed 75 years ago to help the World War II effort amid racial discrimination.

The pilots were honored with the Congressional Gold Medal in 2007 and were depicted in the 2012 movie “Red Tails.”

The Air Force Museum Foundation says a panel discussion will follow the showing.
