JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) - Two juveniles from Janesville are in custody after police were led on a car chase.

Police say a 16-year-old girl stole a vehicle and was driving without headlights Sunday about 11 p.m. A 14-year-old boy was also in the car. Officers spotted the stolen vehicle, the driver fled and police pursued.

The Janesville Gazette (https://bit.ly/1Q3pZNw ) says the two teens were arrested after the car crashed into a fence on a dead end street. They were taken to the Rock County Juvenile Detention Center.

During a search of the car, police say they found property that had been stolen recently from other vehicles.
