PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Portland police say they have arrested a woman who led officers on a chase while three children were in her car.

KATU-TV reports (https://goo.gl/H1aGsB ) that the 28-year-old woman was arrested Saturday after officers responded to a report of a reckless driver.

The suspect, who has not been identified, had been driving a white SUV when officers saw her near North Interstate Avenue and Lombard Street. The woman allegedly hit a patrol car and sped off.

Police were eventually able to stop the driver by ramming the SUV.

Officers say the three children, ages 3,5 and 11, inside the car were unharmed and are related to the woman. The children have been turned over to family.
