WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont. (AP) - Four snowmobilers who became disoriented on New Year’s Eve near West Yellowstone have been rescued.

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office says a man from Belgrade, Mont., called the West Yellowstone Police Department and said he and three people with him had become disoriented after a woman was injured in a minor snowmobile crash.

The sheriff’s office says rescuers raced on snowmobiles to the GPS coordinates based on the 911 call and rescued the snowmobilers.

One woman was taken to the Big Sky Medical Center, where her condition was not available. They were not identified.
