BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries reminds anglers that the recreational harvest of gag grouper is closed from Jan. 1 through June 30 of each year.

Additionally, the recreational harvest of black, red, yellowfin and yellowmouth groupers closes from Feb. 1 to March 31 of each year seaward of the 20 fathom (120 foot) curve.
