WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested a man in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a pedestrian in Worcester.
Twenty-one-year-old Vincent Green of West Boylston is facing charges including motor vehicle homicide, leaving the scene of a crash and others. He’ll likely be arraigned Monday in Worcester District Court.
Police say the 56-year-old pedestrian was hit just before 3 a.m. Saturday on West Boylston Street near St. Christopher Parish.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he died. Police have not identified the victim.
Fragments of the vehicle were found at the scene.
Green was arrested Saturday afternoon. It’s not clear how police tracked him down.
