NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a shooting in a Buffalo-area parking lot that left one man dead and another hospitalized.

Police in the Niagara County city of North Tonawanda say officers responded around 1:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of shots fired in a parking lot at Manhattan and Tremont streets.

Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was dead at the scene. The other was taken to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. Information on his conditions hasn’t been released.

Police say they’re looking for three men who left the scene in a vehicle.

The names of the victims haven’t been released.
