TALOGA, Okla. (AP) - Investigators have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the shooting death of his estranged wife.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Monday that Lanne Baldwin of Clinton was arrested Sunday night in connection with the death of 26-year-old Cassandra Baldwin inside her home in Taloga.

Dewey County sheriff’s deputies found Cassandra Baldwin dead of a gunshot wound on Wednesday. Lanne Baldwin had also been shot but was still alive. Authorities say he was transported to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was arrested on a first-degree murder warrant and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.

Dewey County court records indicate that Lanne Baldwin was formally charged with first-degree murder on Thursday. The records do not indicate whether he is represented by an attorney.
