MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Police in Minot say several area businesses and banks have reported finding counterfeit $100 bills being passed in the city.

Aaron Moss of the department’s Crime Prevention Unit is asking that businesses finding suspicious bills take note of the suspect’s physical description and any other identifying information. The unit is also asking for vehicle descriptions and license plates

Merchants are asked to call Minot’s central dispatch number at (701) 852-0111 with any information.
