DUNCANNON, Pa. (AP) - State police say gunfire at an attempted eviction in central Pennsylvania has killed one person and wounded another.

Trooper Robert Hicks said an altercation began just after 10 a.m. Monday at the eviction attempt in Perry County’s Penn Township.

He said shots were fired and left one person dead. Another person who was wounded was flown to a hospital where his condition wasn’t immediately available.

Hicks said all parties have been identified and there was no danger to the public.
