TOWN OF PHELPS, Wis. (AP) - Authorities in northern Wisconsin have released the name of a man killed in a house fire over the weekend.

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office on Monday identified the victim as 44-year-old Paul J. Myszka (MIS’-kuh) III of Phelps.

The sheriff’s office got a 911 call about the fire in the Township of Phelps just after 3 a.m. Saturday. Sheriff’s deputies helped firefighters locate the victim’s body inside the home.

Crews from several area fire departments were called to the scene.
