NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Budget carrier Allegiant Air plans to add two Florida destinations to its routes to and from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
The New Orleans Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/1TT2qe5 ) Las Vegas-based Allegiant will offer nonstop flights from New Orleans to Jacksonville International Airport in April, while nonstop service to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport begins in June.
Allegiant said Tuesday that a limited number of one-way fares to both locations will start at $39. Introductory fares must be purchased by Jan. 13 for travel by Aug. 16.
Allegiant, which currently operates five routes at the New Orleans airport, will run the new flights twice-weekly.
