MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Another Assembly Republican says he won’t seek re-election this fall.

Rep. Dean Knudson of Hudson issued a news release Tuesday saying what he called the time-honored American principle of rotation in office makes government stronger.

Knudson was first elected in 2010. He served on the Legislature’s powerful budget-writing committee this past session.

Rep. Dave Heaton, a Wausau Republican, announced Monday he won’t seek a second term, saying it wouldn’t work for his family.
