SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A Sioux Falls man accused of pointing a bow and arrow at his female roommate and then keeping law officers at bay for six hours is facing aggravated assault charges.

Thirty-four-year-old Marcos Davila Jr. was taken into custody about 2 a.m. Saturday after the standoff at his home. The Argus Leader reports (https://argusne.ws/1nfIfwD ) that he appeared in court on Monday but did not enter a plea. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.

Authorities allege that Davila threatened to kill his roommate after she refused his advances. She was able to get away and call police.

Davila’s bond was set at $25,000 cash only.
