MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A man accused in a slaying in Minot nearly a year and a half ago is on trial.

Jury selection began Monday in the murder trial of 39-year-old Anthony Campbell. He’s accused of killing 25-year-old Shannon Brunelle, who was found dead in a garage at an apartment building on Sept. 15, 2014.

Campbell was arrested in Philadelphia after a nine-week search, and earlier pleaded not guilty.

Authorities have said Brunelle was an acquaintance of Campbell. Court documents in the case have been sealed to the public.

Campbell could face life in prison without parole if convicted. The trial is expected to take two weeks.
